Local Resources

The local Area Agencies on Aging and Aging Service Access Points are an excellent resource for elders, families, caregivers and health care professionals.  The agencies provide a variety of services including information and referral, ombudsman programs which advocate for people with loved ones in nursing facilities, legal services, Medicare advocacy, the SHINE (Serving Health Information Needs of Elders) program and more.

We are also including a list of the Senior Centers/Councils on Aging in our territory.  Your local Senior Center will have a wide range of activitie and local resources for its senior residents.
