Home lnstead Senior Care is an AARP National Employer Team member that actively searches for mature workers.

More than 60% of our CAREGivers are over the age of 50. AARP's National Employer Team members are employers that understand the changing demographics in the workforce, have demonstrated a sincere interest in recruiting and retaining older workers, and have gone through an extensive AARP application process.

The Home lnstead Senior Care network participates in this program because it recognizes mature workers' valuable qualities. Mature workers are reliable, relate well to seniors, may have previously taken care of an older family member or friend, and possess a strong work ethic.

If you enjoy spending time with seniors and you have a kind and gentle heart, CAREGiving may be your calling. Home Instead Senior Care is looking for honest, reliable individuals who are interested in working with seniors in their homes.

We are currently looking for the following positions in the MetroWest area:

  • CNA, HHA or PCA Certified Caregivers (Expired licenses and certificates accepted.)
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Must be a legal U.S. citizen or have a green card

CAREGiver Training and Support

From the moment you're hired, we will offer you a variety of initial and on-going training opportunities to help you enhance your caregiving skills.

Each new employee is provided with our CAREGiver training program that addresses issues such as communicating with seniors, planning activities, recognizing illnesses and depression, and even safety training. ln addition, regular CAREGiver meetings allow you to share with and learn from other caregiving professionals. Plus our office staff is available any time to help answer questions and provide support. And as a Home lnstead CAREGiver, you will be bonded and insured. Home lnstead Senior Care also provides a proprietary training program for Alzheimer's and dementia care. As a Personal Care Homemaker (PCH), you will be required to attend 6 paid training sessions each year to maintain your certification.
