Home Instead Senior Care is proud to be an active community member.  We frequently attend industry trade fairs and exhibit shows to meet our clients and their families as well as the professionals with whom we work to serve the senior community.

Laurie Bender, RN, MS, CCNS and Owner of our two offices, also offers public service presentations on various topics to educate our senior population, their adult children and the general public about senior issues. Senior health topics such as Stress Management, Frailty, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and Alzheimer’s; problem solving techniques for controversial and difficult family dynamics between adult siblings and parent and adult child relationships; and the startling facts about the Home Care Industry and what you really need to know to be safe and protected.

As a free public service, Laurie Bender is available to speak to your group, club or community event.

Be A Santa To A Senior in your community
This not-for-profit event benefits our Natick and Northborough senior residents who would otherwise receive nothing for the holidays. Spearheaded by Home Instead Senior Care, it is a combined event between Home Instead, The Natick and Northborough Senior Centers, MutualOne Bank of Natick and Central One Federal Credit Union of Northborough. Home Instead Senior Care sets up a Christmas Tree with ornamental tags bearing the holiday requests of the area's neediest seniors at both Banks. The Senior Centers provide the gift requests. Home Instead encourages area residents to come to the Banks, take a tag, fill gift requests and return the items back to each Bank. We also ask volunteers to consider donating their time for the "Wrapping Party" which will take place at the Natick and Northborough Senior Centers. The Natick and Northborough Senior Centers provide gift distribution through their Outreach Workers.
